The game works, but it's just a lower quality version of an already existing game. Make something original! You definitely have the ability to make something great, so do that.

Really cute game. I think you can do a lot with this concept. My suggestions: make a way to clear shots without outright resetting the level, if you fall off the map the level should auto reset, and you should work on the look of the game. It's a really good first draft though.
